Blackberry is firstborn choice in smart mobile phone division
Research in movement (rim) launched its very firstborn blackberry device as a two-way pager in 1999. With its gradual and vast popularity leading to the launching of its next firstborn smart phone in 2002, known for its e-mailing facility, internet faxing, web browsing, mobile telephone, text messaging, etc. Rim concentrated on the feature of e-mailing, the cause for blackberry’s success.
Blackberry has been compatible with office use, for its office friendly pre-installed applications – to-do list, notes, phone book, calculator, calendar, alarm, etc. This made blackberry the firstborn preferent choice of consumers for an office friendly smart phone. Blackberry currently regulates an approximate of 20% portion of the global sales in smart phones, after nokia’s symbian mobile phones.

Why the Blackberry Storm is Leading the Pack!
The Blackberry Storm is the newest touch-screen smart phone to hit the market. It was released on November 21st of 2008 and has been called the “iPhone Killer” among other names, as it’s many of the same functions and operates on the, super-fast, 3G network.
Verizon Wireless is the main carrier for the Blackberry Storm and its list of features, which include:
o big high resolution screen paired with a rich multi-media suite
o Text (SMS), picture messaging (MMS), the ability to watch 30-second video clips, instant messaging and access to popular social networking sites
o Removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery that provides approximately 5.5 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time.
o 3.2 megapixel camera, with variable zoom, auto focus, and a powerful flash that also gives continuous lighting when recording video; the camera records video in half-VGA resolution (480×320) or at 176×144 for MMS
